"Harold K. Wentzel, 81, Laurel Commons, passed away Feb. 19, 2007, at 8:30 p.m. in St. Joseph Medical Center, Bern Township, where he was admitted Feb. 18.
He was the husband of Loretta J. (Yeager) Wentzel.
Born in Stony Creek Mills, he was a son of the late John F. and Esther M. (Petsch) Wentzel.
Harold was employed for 30 years as a master mechanic and shop foreman by D.B. Diefenderfer, Exeter Township, until his retirement in 1978.
He was an Army Air Forces veteran of World War II.
Surviving in addition to his wife are three daughters: Shirley A., wife of Roger G. Hahn, Sinking Spring; Bonnie M., wife of Thomas W. Unger, Mohrsville; and Joan M. Schweitzer, Reading; and two sons, Harold D. Wentzel, Reading, and Barry L. Wentzel, Temple."
