"He was born Arvel Larry Miller on October 8, 1945 in Coleman to Arvel Zedic Miller and Ora Dee Beal Miller. He grew up in Coleman and graduated from Coleman High School. He worked as a welder, owning his own business. He moved to Farmington, New Mexico, working for Justice Supply and later moved to Durango, Colorado, working for 4 Corners Material. In 2011, Larry came back to Texas, moving to Cisco. He was an avid sportsman, hunter and fisherman. He loved the outdoors and loved being around his grandchildren.
"Survivors include two sons, Larry Miller and wife Chawntell, of Frisco, Jason Miller and wife, Kristi, of Trophy Club; one brother, Jackie Miller and wife, Janet, of Irving; two sisters, Martha Hoffman of Benbrook, Audria Byerly and husband, Bob, of Orange and a sister-in-law, Mae White of Eastland. Also surviving are three grandchildren, Kalei Miller, Kennedi Miller and Karli Miller.
"He was preceded in death by his parents; one brother, Jack White, and a sister, Pat Beckham."
