Earl L. "Stump" Tesno, 84, of Hummelstown died Wednesday in Hershey Medical Center. He retired as a farmer from Milton Hershey Farms, was an Army veteran of World War II and enjoyed flower gardening and latch-hooking. Surviving are his wife, Virginia Becker Tesno; four daughters, Marion L. Flocken of Palmyra, and Nancy A. Bechtel, Jean M. Stanitis and Trudy L. Mouery, all of Hummelstown; a brother, Alfred R. of Lebanon; four sisters, Gladys C. Wywadis, Alice A. Carlton and Grace M. Helm, all of Hummelstown, and Evelyn A. Still of Three Springs; and eight grandchildren. Services will be held at 11 a.m. Tuesday in Trefz & Bowser Funeral Home, Hummelstown. Burial, with military honors, will be in Indiantown Gap National Cemetery. Viewing will be from 10 to 11 a.m. Tuesday in the funeral home. Memorial donations may be made to St. Jude Children's Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105.
