Ella Manson was retired from Manifold
Miss Ella F. Manson, 80, who was employed by the General Manifold and Printing Co. for many years died at 1:30 p. m. Monday in the Almira Home, New Castle. She resided at 808 Elk St., for many years prior to going to the home four years ago.
She was born in Rockland, Oct. 31, 1890, a daughter of James M. and Mary E. Ross Manson. She spent her early life in that community and attended the public schools in Rockland.
She started her employment with the Manifold in 1914 and was a departmest supervisor for many years. She retired in 1958.
Miss Manson was an active member of the Christ United Methodist Church throughout her life in Franklin. She was a member of the Willing Workers Class, the Women's Society of Christian Service and the Florida Circle.
She is survived by three sisters, Mrs. R. F. (Austa) McCracken, Mrs. J. E. (Marion) Mortimer and Mrs. P. L. (Elizabeth) Kiskadden, all of Franklin, and several nieces and nephews. Two sisters, Mrs. H. O. (Maud) Trace and Mrs. M. R. (Arietta) Meckley, asd three brothers, Claude, Edward and George Manson, preceded her in death.
The body is at the Frank S. Huff Chapel where friends may call after 7 p. m. today. The family will receive friends from 7 to 9 p. m. today and 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p. m. Wednesday and Thursday. Funeral services will be conducted there at 2:30 p. m, Friday with the Rev. Harold R. Burgess, pastor of Christ U.M. Church, officiating. Interment will be in Rockland Cemetery.
