George John Tuil, age 85, resident of Brainerd, passed away on Sunday, November 18, 2018 at Essentia - St. Joseph's Medical Center in Brainerd.
George is survived by his wife of 58 years, Myrtle (Smith); sons, Robert (JoAnn), Doug (Sharon), Tom (Cindy) and Donald (Ann); grandchildren, Sarah (Stephanie), Chad, Melissa, Nick, DJ, Brandon (Kayla), Kayla (Blaine) and Shelby (Justin); step grandchildren, Gaylen (Tyler) and Jeremy (Azsa); great grandchildren, Robert, Finley and Ila; step great grandchildren, Araceli, Arjay and Alexandra.
Preceded in death by his parents, John and Gladys (Warden) Tuil; children, Theresa and Jeff; sister, Angie Voss and brother, Leroy.
Services will be held 10:00 a.m. on Saturday, November 24, 2018 at Nelson-Doran Funeral Home in Brainerd. Visitation will be held on Friday from 4-7 p.m. and will continue the hour prior to services at the funeral home. Military Honors will be provided by Brainerd American Legion and V.F.W Color Guard. Burial will be in Minnesota State Veterans Cemetery.
