Connie Lynn (Wingo) Taylor passed away in Oklahoma City on Friday, November 16, 2018, at the age of 64 years.

Connie was the daughter of Clester ‘Cleck’ Wingo & Wanda (Trotter) Wingo, born on April 24, 1954, in Holdenville, Oklahoma, where she was brought up and attended schools. She graduated Holdenville High School with the Class of 1972, and lived all her life in Holdenville.

Connie worked at various occupations in Holdenville, and was well known for her friendly smile and cheerful personality. She worked as waitress for the Queen Bee Restaurant, clerk and cashier for H&H Foods and David’s Mini Market, and line worker for Chaffin Manufacturing. Her final employment was as a corrections officer for Earl Davis Correctional Facility, until her retirement due to health issues in 2006. She was a lifetime member of Capitol Heights Missionary Baptist Church. She enjoyed bowling, fishing, watching football on TV, and just driving around. Most of all she loved watching her grandsons play baseball. Her grandchildren were the light of her life.

She is preceded in death by her parents, Cleck & Wanda Wingo.

She is survived by her daughter, Cheryl Brewer, of Holdenville; four grandchildren: Cody McCoy, Jordan Brewer, David M. Brewer, and Ronnie Brewer; three great grandchildren: Cole Stewart, Avery Sherrin, and Izabella McCoy; other relatives and many friends.
