Bob was easy going and enjoyed commercial fishing and baking.
He was survived by his children: Jimmy Beckwith of Maine, Jayne Blanchard of Queensbury, Robert Beckwith of Queensbury, John Beckwith of Glens Falls, Lee Beckwith and his wife, Margaret, of Queensbury, and Ryan Beckwith and his wife, Jennifer, of Hudson Falls; 16 grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; his sister, Barbara Jones of Queensbury; his brother, Michael Beckwith and his companion, Donna Duell, of Fort Edward; his special friend, Ruth Anderson of Hollywood Beach, Fla.; and several nieces, nephews, uncles, aunts and cousins.
The Rite of Committal will be conducted at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday at Moss Street Cemetery in the town of Kingsbury. Local arrangements are under the direction of Carleton Funeral Home, Inc., 68 Main Street in Hudson Falls.
