The Springer's other children were Debbie Taylor, Class of 1974, of Oregon and Mark Taylor, Class of 1977, of Buffalo, Texas, who were also adopted.
David had not married and was living in California when he was struck by an automobile while crossing a street. His body was cremated and his ashes were scattered at sea.
