FIGHT, ANNA FRANCIS "FRANKIE," 78, of Buckner, passed away on Sunday, May 13, 2007 at Baptist Hospital NE - Hospice Unit. She was a native of Shelby county, KY and the former Anna Barnes. She was a Catholic by faith and a retired employee of General Electric and a member of Union 761. She was preceded in death by her husband, Charles Fight; and a brother, Settles Barnes. She is survived by her daughters, Linda Jackey Schneider and Judy Jackey Whitaker; grandchildren, Joey Schoenbaechler, Yancey "Bug" Whitaker, Jenny Wilson, Ricky and Jennifer Schneider; nine great-grandchildren; brother, Buck Barnes (Linda); and sister, Christine Hardin. Her funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. on Wednesday at Arch L. Heady at Resthaven, 4400 Bardstown Road, with entombment to follow in Resthaven Memorial Park Mausoleum. Visitation will be from 2-8 p.m. on Tuesday at the funeral home. Expressions of sympathy may be made to Hospice and Palliative Care of Louisville.

Anna Francis "Frankie" Fight, age 78 of Buckner, died Sunday, May 13, 2007 at Baptist Hospital Northeast Hospice Unit. She was the former Anna Barnes, a Catholic by faith and a retired employee of General Electric and a member of Union 761.

She is survived by two daughters: Linda Jackey Schneider and Judy Jackey Whitaker; one brother, Buck Barnes; one sister, Christine Hardin; five grandchildren and nine great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, Charles Fight and one brother, Settles Barnes.

Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. today (Wednesday, May 16) at Arch L. Heady at Resthaven, Bardstown Rd. Entombment will be in Resthaven Memorial Park Mausoleum.

Expressions of sympathy may take the form of contribution to Hospice and Palliative Care of Louisville.
