Maryann “Nan” (Wagner) Sergi, 78 of Duxbury, passed away on Thursday November 8, 2018. Born on August 24, 1940, she was the daughter of the late Edward and Rose (Clark) Wagner. Nan started her career teaching kindergarten at Thayer Academy before getting married and having a family. Nan had many talents and hobbies, a great sense of humor, and an amazing way with people and children. Above all else, she was an extraordinary grandmother and adored her grandchildren.
Nan was the wife of the late Dr. Arthur R. “Bing” Sergi, Jr. She is survived by her children Mark and his wife Kathy Sergi of Tampa, FL, Maryann (Sergi) Taylor and her husband Timothy of Charleston, SC, Patricia (Sergi) Duty of Duxbury, MA and Suzanne (Sergi) Murphy and her husband Sean of Duxbury. MA. Nan was the loving grandmother of Gabriella and Alec Sergi, Timothy Taylor, Brandon, Joshua, and Ryan Duty, and Molly Murphy. She was the sister of Ned Wagner, Janet (Wagner) Latham, Robert Wagner, and William Wagner.
A Memorial Mass will be celebrated at a future date to be determined. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Nan's honor to the Alzheimer's Association, alz.org or 225 N. Michigan Ave., Fl. 17, Chicago, IL 60601.
