Obituary - Services for Mrs. Josie Bowers Hyder, 66, 525 East Walnut Street, will be held at 10:30 a.m. Thursday in Flanner and Buchanan Shadeland Mortuary, with burial in Floral Park Cemetery. She died Thursday in Methodist Hospital. Mrs. Hyder was a cook seven years at Silver Belle Tavern. Prior to that she worked 15 years at the old Borky's Restaurant. A native of Elizabethton, Tenn., she had lived here since 1956 and was a member of Free Will Baptist Church. Survivors include four sisters, Mrs. Mae Smith of Indianapolis, Misses Juanita, Ceola, and Hildred Bowers; four brothers, Floyd, Clifford, Luther, and Grover Bowers, and her stepmother, Sallie Bowers, all of Elizabethton.
