YARMOUTH: We announce the death of Rose Mary (Rosie) Muise, native of Yarmouth, occurred on Sunday, January 29th, at the Yarmouth Regional Hospital at the age of 84. She was the daughter of the late Mondie Hubbard and the late Mary Jane Hubbard. She was a member of the Ladies Auxiliary Branch 61 of the Royal Canadian Legion. She leaves to mourn, one daughter, Joan of Yarmouth; two sons, William of Saugus, Mass., and Alfred of Vancouver; as well as one brother, Johnnie of Yarmouth; one sister, Betty Surette of Toronto; 4 grandchildren, 7 great-grandchildren and 1 great-great-grandchild. She was predeceased by her husband, William G.; by one son, Walter; by one brother, Wilfred; and by 3 sisters, Marg, Jenny and Mattie. The body was in Huskilson's Funeral Home. The funeral was held on Wednesday, February 1st at 10:00 a.m. at St-Ambroise Cathedral. Father Clarence Thibeau officiated. Interment was in Our Lady of Calvary Cemetery.
