A private family memorial service for Mr. Joseph Dale Patterson, 81, of Spearsville will be held at Beech Grove cemetery in Spearsville at a later date. Arrangements are under the direction of Farrar Funeral Home of Farmerville.
Joe Dale was born February 19, 1937 in Kilgore, Tx. to the union of Minor C. Patterson & Ambrey Dell “Hogue” Patterson and passed from this life on November 14, 2018.
Mr. Patterson was retired from Weyerhaeuser Particle Board Plant in Lillie, La. and served in the United States Navy.
Mr. Patterson was preceded in death by his wife, Carrie Richie; parents; three brothers, Carroll “Fat Pat” Patterson, Colvin Patterson and Bobby Patterson; and two sisters, Frances Chambers and Bessie Whatley Green.
Left to cherish his memory are three brothers, Merle (Helen) Patterson of Farmerville, La., Claude (Pat) Patterson of Farmerville, La. and Wayne (Ann) Patterson of Ruston, La.; two step-daughters, Clara Jean Bass and Alice Yvonne; one grandson, William Bass; and numerous friends and family members.
