Paul Allen Miron, 71, of Marinette, Wis., passed away Friday, Nov. 9, 2018, at Rennes Health Center-East in Peshtigo, Wis. He was born May 13, 1947, in Schaffer, Mich., to the late Philip Zenon Miron and Mary (Auger) Miron.

Paul was raised in Gladstone before moving with his family to Kingsford, MI where he graduated from high school with the Class of 1965. After graduation, he entered military service with the United States Army and was a veteran of the Vietnam War. Paul later lived in Montana before moving to Marinette.

Having an appreciation of art, Paul enjoyed painting and was an avid reader. He loved time spent in the company of his friends and playing cards. He will be remembered for his kind nature and willingness to help people in need. Paul served as a driver for the VA, bringing veterans to their appointments at area clinics.

Paul is survived by his siblings:
a sister: Mary Alice Miron of Escanaba, Mich., and her four daughters: Marianne Pena of Escanaba, Catherine Hakl of Germany, Angeline Smitley of Alaska and Christine Steele of California;

a brother: Fred (Linda) Miron of Peshtigo, WI and his children: Jada Chartier of Ft. Wayne, Ind., Audrey Miron of Westfield, Ind., the late Felicia Miron and Carmen Hashimoto of Peshtigo;

a sister: Carol A. Schneider of Kingsford, MI and her sons: Aaron Schneider and Benjamin Schneider, both of Aurora, Wis.;

and a half brother: John Maines and his daughters: Jeanette Spera of Louisiana and Caroline Maines of Kingsford.
He is further survived by many great nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents: Philip Miron and Mary Miron Maines; and step-father, Louis Maines.

**May 6, 2023~~ His father was Philip Zenon Miron, born 20 Nov 1912 in Danforth, Michigan to Alfred Miron and Lodzie Philomene Goodreau LaPointe . He died 14 Feb 1992 in Marinette, Wisconsin. I couldn't find a FAG memorial for him.
