Mass for Joseph Branick, 72, a longtime employee of The Tribune, will be at 9:30 a.m. Monday in St. Gertrude's Catholic Church, 1420 W. Granville Ave. Mr. Branick, who , died Friday in Augustana Hospital, joined the newspaper's advertising department in 1928 and worked in the promotion department until he retired in 1977. Mr. Branick, who lived in Rogers Park, is survived by his wife, Lillian; 5 daughters, Maureen Newburn, Jeanine Conroy, Geraldine Neary, Bonnie Mensik and Susan Latala; 4 sons, Joseph Jr., Thomas, Robert and Timothy; 22 grandchildren; 3 great-grandchildren; and a brother. Two of his sons, Joseph Jr. and Robert, and a son-in-law, James Neary, are Tribune printers.
