Addie Myrl Arnett, 87, of Dawson Springs, KY passed away Wednesday, November 14, 2018 at St. Vincent Hospital in Evansville, IN.
She was born August 17, 1931 in Hopkins County, Ky to the late Thomas Jefferson Jones and Cora Elizabeth Forbes Jones. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Walter Truman Arnett; twin sister, Florence Pearl Jones, Anna Lois Brown, and Barbara Lea Hendricks; brothers, Grover Chester Jones, Thomas J. Jones, Jr., and Robert Franklin Jones; and one son, Daniel Eugene Arnett.
Addie made her living as a housewife. She enjoyed watching TV, loved her family, and was addicted to Burger King.
She is survived by two daughters, Becky (Brent 'Fuzzy') Lloyd of Dawson Springs and Beth (James 'Cowboy') Arnett of Edmonton, KY; one son, Walter T. (Wanda) Arnett; three sisters, Brenda (Ellis) Johnson of St. Charles, Dortha Crook of Earlington, and JoAnn Storms of St. Charles; three brothers, Harold (Sue) Jones of Madisonville, Jimmy (Judy) Jones of Texas, and Donnie Jones of Illinois; sixteen grandchildren, and 24 great grandchildren.
Funeral services will be 11:30 A.M. Monday, November 19, 2018 at Barnett Strother Funeral Home with Bro. George Brooks officiating. Burial will be private.
Visitation will be from 9:30 A.M. until service time Monday at the funeral home.
Pallbearers will be Chance Arnett, Daniel Arnett, Dustin Boze, Jeremy Boze, Jonathan Lloyd and Billy Joe Lloyd.
