Allan Lee was a Detective for the Police Department in St. Paul, Minnesota. He served 12 years for the Police Force, dying in the line of duty at age 42. Detective Lee went to a residence to interview a tenant there about a robbery suspect. As he entered the home, he noticed that the robbery suspect was there. The suspect jumped up and opened fire with a .38 caliber revolver. He struck Detective Lee in the head and stomach. The suspect was later found hiding out in his home. After Officers fired off tear gas in the suspects home, they stormed the house, shooting and killing the suspect. Detective Lee was survived by his wife and two children.
