Lola Grace Barefoot, 92 of Bunnlevel died on Thursday, November 08, 2018 at Bethesda Nursing Home in Eastover. She was born August 3, 1926 in Cumberland County, North Carolina to the late James Carroll Godwin and the late Cora Ellen Martin Godwin. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband Hubert Barefoot; two daughters: Jo Ann Tyndall and Lois Marsh; brother: James Lawrence Godwin and two sisters: Pauline Jones and Bertha Godwin.

Grace was a member of Four Points Church of God. She could often be found shelling peas or shucking corn. Her greatest joy in life was spending time with her family.

Grace leaves behind to honor her legacy her two daughters, Sherry Simonson (Wes) of Fayetteville and Doris Wilson (Doug) of Bunnlevel; eight grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.

A graveside service will be conducted on Saturday, November 10, 2018 at 1:00 PM at Old Bluff Cemetery.

The family will receive friends on Friday, November 9, 2018 from 6:00 PM until 8:00 PM at Cromartie-Miller Funeral Home.

All arrangements are entrusted to Cromartie-Miller Funeral Home.
