Born June 28, 1934, in Owen County, she was the daughter of the late James and Artie Perkins Beckham and the widow of Malone Bibb. She was also preceded in death by her brother, J.W. Beckham. Lou was a retired seamstress from Union Underwear and a member of Capital City Christian Church.
She is survived by her children, Mark Bibb, Stan Bibb and Marla Stovall; grandchildren, Brandy, Jacob, John, Emily and Jessica as well as thirteen great grandchildren.
McDonald & New Funeral Homes are in charge of arrangements. Family will receive friends at the Main Street funeral home on Monday, November 12, 2018 from 11am unitl 1pm. Funeral services will follow at 1pm with Dr. Stephen "Doc" Pattinson presiding. Burial will be in the Monterey Cemetery and memorial contributions may be made to the Monterey Cemetery.
