Charlotte Larue Sabo, 95, of Shamokin, died Tuesday, the 6th of November, surrounded by her loving family.

Charlotte was born in Shamokin on Sept. 21, 1923, a daughter of the late Fredrick and Annie (Stevenson) Adams, of Shamokin.

She was married to the late Gabe Sabo, also of Shamokin.

Charlotte spent many years working in the Arrow Shirt Factory. She was known for her homemade cooking, which she shared with her loved ones. She particularly enjoyed family gatherings that included enjoying food, playing cards and Pokeno. Her most memorable moments were those she shared as our wife, mother, nanny, sister, aunt and cousin.

Charlotte is survived by two daughters, Karen Reigle and Charlotte McCabe, wife of the late Edward McCabe; two sons, James "Bim" Kodack and his wife, Rosemary, and Dennis Kodack and his wife, Roxann; 13 grandchildren; 20 great-grandchildren and 19 great-great-grandchildren.

In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by her two sons, John "Butch" Kodack and Robert "Bob" Kodack; three sisters, Stella, Hazle and Violet; a brother, Charlie; and a grandson, Mark Whitmer.

SABO - Charlotte Larue Sabo, 95, of Shamokin. A viewing will be held in the Leonard J. Lucas Funeral Home, Ltd., 120 S. Market St., Shamokin, from 9 to 11 a.m. Monday. Services will begin at 11 a.m. with Rev. Sarah Hershberger of the Grace Lutheran Church officiating. Burial will follow in Northumberland Memorial Park Cemetery, Stonington
