retired in 1977 from SOHIO Construction Co. as an Oil & Geologist. Helped bring in The Sam Fox Well of the East Hobart, Ok., rated worlds largest Dec. 12, 1957. He approved the location for the well for the Gulf Production Co., prior to drilling many wells were completed in the Moore, Ok. area buth approved the #1 well near Moore. There were many others.

Survived by daughter, Marion Harris of OKC; son, Jerry Pennington, OKC; sisters, Rozella Owens, Dallas, Nina Casto, Edmond, Elva Mayes, OKC; 5 grandchildren, 8 great-grandchildren; 3 great-great grandchildren.
