ELKHART -- Dorothy P. Morse, 89, formerly of Stratford Commons apartments, died at 2 p.m. Monday (Feb. 6, 2006) at AmeriCare Living Center. She was born May 18, 1916, in Elkhart to Harley S. and Stella (Molebash) Pletcher. She is survived by a daughter, Joan (Ralph) Ward of Elkhart; a son, Richard L. Morse of Cave Creek, Ariz.; five grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by two brothers, Harvey and Bernard Pletcher; and a grandson, Gary L. Ward. Friends may call two hours before the 2 p.m. Thursday service at Waterman Westbrook Clouse Funeral Home, 1129 S. Prairie St. The Rev. Joe Emmerth, chaplain of Southern Care Hospice, will officiate; and burial will be at Rice Cemetery. Miss Morse retired from CTS Corp. on Jan. 31, 1977, after working there for 28 years.
