Services for Buddy were held on Sunday af- ternoon, Nov. 4, 2018 at the Early Church of Christ. A visitation reception followed. Davis-Mor- ris Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements for Buddy Witcher. Buddy was born in Littlefield, TX on March 1, 1953 to Alva C. Witcher and Louella Holmes Witcher. Buddy grew up in Littlefield and graduated from high school there. He went on to work for Texas Department of Transportation in Littlefield. In 1977 he met the love of his life, Delores Murrell and they married on Oct. 27, 1978. They had two children together, Jason and Amber. Buddy worked for TxDOT in Littlefield and Brownwood for 37 years total. He attended the Early Church of Christ for 30 years, served as a deacon for some of that time, volunteered at the Lake Cisco Christian Camp for 28 years, worked as a Band Booster for the Brownwood High School Band for 10 years, did woodwork and crafts and so much more for many families in the community. He was a behind the scenes kind of guy but left a lasting impression on all he knew. Buddy is preceded in death by his parents, grandparents, many uncles and aunts, four brother-in-laws and one sister-in-law.
