On 29 June 1926, Frank first married Clara Z. "Zetta" Carlson in Grand Forks, ND; he was age 29, she was 20. Born as Clara Z. Arnette in North Dakota on 25 December 1905, "Zetta" was later adopted by Orley A. & Bessie B. Carlson.
Frank & Clara ultimately divorced & she second married Roy James Brown in 1953.
