Alden Bacon, age 83, of Cape Coral, Florida, formerly of Sheridan, Indiana, passed away at his home on November 3, 2018. Born in Sheridan, Indiana on June 3, 1935, he was the son of Gerald L. and Helen E. (Marlow) Bacon.
Alden is survived by his daughter, Shelly Schiedel, 2 grandchildren, 6 great grandchildren, 4 sisters, Mary Lou Ashley, Anita Carol Gillmore, Peggy Artman , and Cheryl Inman.
He was preceded in death by his parents, 2 brothers: Gordon and Gerald Wayne Bacon, and by his wife, Barbara L (Rogers) Bacon.
Services will be held November 10, 2018 at Kercheval Funeral Home, in Sheridan, Indiana. Burial will follow at Crown View Cemetery.
