Horace married Jeannette Bedard in Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada on his birthday October 17, 1949. The Couple had no children. They celebrated their 68th Wedding anniversary on October 17, 2017.
In 1961, Horace, who was concertizing throughout the Northwest, was asked to perform accordion concerto with the Walla Walla and Mid-Columbia Symphony Orchestras; a first for both organizations. Horace inherited a love for music from his father who was also an accordionist. Horace was given his first accordion when he was 3 years old. Throughout the years Horace was known as a Classical Accordionist, one of the best throughout Canada, The United States and other parts of the world.
Horace was a kind hearted man and loving person. He loved his wife (in his words) “with all my heart!” In his later years Horace enjoyed spending time with his wife in their home in Walla Walla, Washington. His favorite place to eat was at the Maple Counter on Sunday mornings, he’d always order pancakes. Horace will truly be missed and remembered by many.
Horace is survived by his wife Jeannette Lazzari, brothers Larry and Allan Lazzari.
He is preceded in death by his parents Larry and Lena Morelli Lazzari.
Viewing and Visitation will be held from 5 PM through 7 PM on Monday, November 20, 2017 at the Herring Funeral Home.
Funeral Mass will be held at 10:00 AM at St. Patrick Catholic Church, Tuesday, November 21, 2017 with Father David Gaines, celebrant. Interment will follow at Mountain View Cemetery.
