Lisle Bugg, 85, of Curran died on Saturday, Nov. 3, 2018 at MidMichigan Health
Center in Alpena. He was born January 26, 1933 to Harry and Carrie
(Conrad) Bugg Sr. in Curran. He was a lifelong resident of
Curran where he was a logger for many years.
On June 23, 1956 he married Betty Miller. Mr. Bugg enjoyed hunting,
caring for his draft horses, gardening, riding his golf cart
and tractor. He kept his lawn meticulously neat.
Mr. Bugg is survived by his wife, Betty, of Curran; two daughters, Cindy Zenker and
Barbara Kay (Mick) Green; two sons, Rick (Eve) Bugg and Dean (Doreen) Bugg; 11
grandchildren; 22 greatgrandchildren; one brother, Everette Bugg of Curran;
three sisters, Jeanie Mendyka of Lincoln, Louise Indish of Gaines, Mich. and Rose
Mahalak of Lincoln.
He was preceded in death by six siblings, Sonny Bugg, Phyliss Baldwin, Margie
Phinney, George Bugg, Edward Bugg and Mary Ann Mahalak.
Cremation has taken place. A memorial service will be held Saturday, Nov. 24 at the
Mitchell Township Hall in Curran from 1 to 4 p.m. Arrangements were handled by
McWilliams Funeral Home.
