She is survived by her parents, Joyce (Ellsworth) Cater and her husband, Al, of Charlottesville, Virginia, and Stanley Woodford and his wife, Alice, of Deposit; her children, Patrick Weeks and Kayla Weeks, and their father, Edwin Weeks, all of Charlottesville. Paula is also survived by her brothers and sister, Stanley Woodford and his wife, Brenda, of Clinton, Utah, David Bergstrom of Charlottesville, and Mary Linn (Bergstrom) Leong and her husband, Krishan, of Charlottesville. She leaves her devoted partner and caretaker, Kevin Milleson of Charlottesville. Paula is also survived by several aunts, uncles, cousins, and nieces.
Funeral services will be held 10 a.m. Friday, April 24, 2009, at Hill and Wood Funeral Home in Charlottesville, Virginia. Those wishing may make a gift in memory to the American Cancer Society (www.cancer.org).
