He is preceded in death by his parents James Oliver and Evelyn Louise Brown and brothers Gary and Ed Brown.
Jim is survived by his wife of seventeen years, Danette (Coulter) Brown; daughters Chastity (Scott) Crabtree; Victoria Brown, Brittany Brown, and Heather Massengill; son Brandon Ellis; nine grandchildren; sisters Pat (Duck) Sharp and Joyce (Ray) Bailey; brothers Jerry (Loretta) Floyd and Bob (Gina) Brown; nieces, nephews, and a host of friends.
Funeral services will be held Saturday, October 15, 2016 at 2:00 PM EDT in the Trenton Chapel of Moore Funeral Home with Officiant Don Washburn..
