Mrs. Adams was an avid Braves baseball fan. She taught Sunday School for numerous years and was the vice president of her 1956 graduating class at Cleveland High School. Mrs. Adams was voted most beautiful in her class, and she enjoyed reading, canning, camping and traveling. Mrs. Adams was known to be an excellent cook and always loved watching shows like Walker Texas Ranger and Matlock.
Survivors include daughter and son-in-law, granddaughters, brothers and sisters-in-laws, and host of nieces and nephews and lots of friends.
Mrs. Adams is preceded in death by her parents Troy Wilson and Dimple Beatrice Doty; husband Billy Joe Adams; daughter Sue Ellen Adams; brother John Henry Doty; sister Travis Ann Sherbet.
Funeral Services were November 4th, 2018 in Blount County Cleveland Funeral Home Chapel. Burial was in Nectar Cemetery in Cleveland, Alabama.
