Atlanta, March 25 - (Special) - Miss Minerva Lee, resident of Atlanta, died suddenly Saturday night at 6 o'clock at the home of her brother, Dr. Maskel Lee, in Atlanta. She was taken ill in the afternoon while on the way to the railroad station, where she intended to take a train to Clinton. After being taken to Dr. Lee's home she seemed to improve, but passed away suddenly at 6 o'clock.
She was born February 28, 1840, near Urbana, O, the oldest child of William and Mary C. Lee. At the age of 3 years she came to Illinois with her parents and after spending a year at Clinton moved to this county, which has since been her home.
Surviving are two sisters, Mrs. Daniel Branstitre, of Clinton, and Mrs. W. C. Weith, of Lincoln; two brothers, Madison Lee, of Clinton, and Dr. Maskel Lee, of Atlanta.
Funeral services will be held from the home of Dr. Lee at 2 o'clock Monday afternoon. Burial will be in Atlanta cemetery.
