He was born October 27, 1940 in Berrien County to the late Claude Eston Luke and the late Ollie Mae Foxworth. He was a welder, tractor mechanic and operated Smokey Bar-B-Que Grills. He was a member of Flat Creek Church and an Army Veteran. He was preceded in death by a brother: Johnny Waugh Luke and 2 sisters: Ann Clements and Helen Newana Moore.
He is survived by 2 daughters: Lynn Stone of Nashville and Layne Wilder of Macon; a niece: Tereasa Chaney of Blackshear; sister: Peggy Friar of Adel; 4 grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren.
Graveside funeral services were held Tuesday November 6, 2018 at 11 AM in Flat Creek Cemetery with Rev. Mickey Lindsey and Pastor Raymond Cason officiating. Lovein Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
