She was the daughter of the late Arthur T. and Velma Davis Ford. Ms. McGinnis was a lifelong resident of this area and a member of Denny Hill Baptist Church where she was involved with “Birchwood Senior Neighbors”.
Betty was preceded in death by husbands; Johnny Malone and Ray McGinnis; son, Wallace Malone; daughter, Ann Hardin; brothers, Marvin, Almus and Brian Ford and a sister, Shirley Rutenburr.
She is survived by her sons, Sammy (Norma) Malone and Johnny Malone; daughter, Jan Lynn; nine grandchildren; several great-great grandchildren; several nieces and nephews.
The funeral service will be Wednesday, October 17, 2018 at noon in the Highway 58 Chapel of Turner Funeral Home.
The family will receive friends on Tuesday October 16, 2018 from 4 - 8 p.m. at Turner Funeral Home and again Wednesday from 10 a.m. until the time of service at noon. Ms. McGinnis will be laid to rest in Bald Hill Cemetery next to her husband Johnny Malone.
