Mrs. Barbra A. Spaulding, age 86, of Salem passed away Thursday, November 1 at Salem Crossing.

Mrs. Spaulding was born October 12, 1932 in Salem the daughter of Harland and Erie Starr Doyle. She was retired from Osram Sylvania of Seymour. She was a member of Canton Christian Church, and the Washington County Hospital Auxiliary.

Barbra is preceded in death by her husbands: Robert L. Smith and Everett Spaulding, a son: Timothy J. Smith, two brothers: Cleon Doyle, and Basil Doyle, two sisters: Avanelle Bush, and Lorean Potter, and her parents.

She is survived by two sons: Jeff Smith (Teresa), and Jonathan Spaulding (Monika) both of Salem, a daughter: Melissa Benetiz (Anthony) of Trinity, Florida, a brother: Harland Doyle Jr. of Cold Springs, Texas, 8 grandchildren, and 8 great-grandchildren.

Cremation was chosen there will be a graveside service Monday, November 19 at 1PM at Crown Hill Cemetery.
