Agnes Allie Lucreace* (Logan) Carter 102 of Galatia passed away Friday November 2, 2018 at 2:00 A.M. at her residence. She was born on November 16, 1915 in Hamilton Co. to the late George Douglas & Agnes (Mace) Logan. Allie married Herman Taylor Carter on October 2, 1934 and he preceded her in death on October 25, 1988. She was a member of Tate's Chapel Church. Allie is survived by 3 children Bobby Deon Carter, Glendel Dean Carter & Mickie Lane Carter; 10 grandchildren; 24 great grandchildren & 7 great great grandchildren and a sister Oma Fern Turner. She was preceded by her parents, husband, and 1 daughter Joyce Fay Carter; 2 sons Billie Leon & Donald Neal Carter; a brother George Logan; 3 sisters Lavern Riggs, Noma Lee Little & Geraldine "Tobe” Irvin. Funeral services will be Monday November 5, 2018 at 11:00 A.M. at the Sloan Funeral Home in Galatia with visitation Sunday November 4, 2018 from 5 to 8 P.M. at the funeral home. Jason Thrash will officiate with burial in the Tate's Chapel Cemetery.
