MYRTLE BEACH, S.C. and BRISTOL - Anna D. (Dougenick) Churchill, 89, of Myrtle Beach, S.C., and Bristol, widow of Edward T. Churchill, died Tuesday, May 17, 2007, at Waccaman Community Hospital, Murrells Inlet, S.C. Mrs. Churchill was born in Bristol July 26, 1917, and was the daughter of the late William and Domenica (Rublauskas) Dougenick. Mrs. Churchill was a lifelong resident of Bristol before moving to Myrtle Beach, S.C., last year. Before her retirement, she was employed for more than 30 years at New Departure-Hyatt Division of General Motors in Bristol. She was a member of St. Joseph Church, Bristol. Mrs. Churchill is survived by a sister, Albina Pryor of Bristol; and two nieces, Marcia (Pryor) MacCatherine of Avon and Mary Ann Pryor of Washington, D.C. Special thanks go to her caregiver, Nikki Therriault, for all the loving care and to the family of Sandy Rivenbaugh for their friendship to Anna. Funeral services will be held Monday, May 21, 2007, at 11 a.m. from Funk Funeral Home, 35 Bellevue Ave., Bristol, to St. Joseph Church for a Mass of Christian burial at noon.
