Mrs. F.M. Lemke Dies Suddenly

Mrs. Francis M. (Mary France) Lemke, 49, died unexpectedly Tuesday morning, February 28, in her home at 215 E St. S.E. She had been a resident of Auburn for about 14 years.
Rosary will be recited in the Price Funeral Chapel Thursday at 7:30 p.m. and requiem high mass will be Friday at 9:30 a.m. in the Holy Family Catholic Church with the Rev. Michael Meade as celebrant. Interment will be I the Sumner Cemetery.
Mrs. Lemke was born January 13, 1907 in Rushford, Minn. She was a school teacher and married Francis M. Lemke February 14, 1928, in Saskatoon, Saskatchewan, Canada. Mr. and Mrs. Lemke moved to Auburn from Saskatoon about 14 years ago. Mrs. Lemke was a member of the Holy Family Catholic Church and of the St. Teresa Circle of the Altar Society, and had been active in the Parent-Teacher association and United Good Neighbor drives.
Mrs. Lemke is survived by her husband, a son, Neil Lemke, Auburn; two daughters, Mrs. Donald Small, Auburn, and Mrs. Don Walker, Wenatchee; Step-mother, Mrs. E.J. Moloney of Moxee City, Robert J. and Ray Moloney, both of Auburn; a sister, Mrs. Kathleen Lyons, Fresno, Calif., and six grandchildren.
