DETTWEILER, Ruth (nee Moss) - Passed away , peacefully, at Cambridge Memorial Hospital, on Tuesday, November 12, 2002, at the age of 72. Beloved wife of Clarke Dettweiler of Cambridge. Dear mother of Allan and Pat, Art and Deb, all of Cambridge, Esther and Dave Snyder of New Dundee, Doris and Floyd Gingerich of Kitchener, Ron of Winterbourne and Janet and Andre Charette of Kitchener. Ruth enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren, Ben, Nathan, Andra and Jacob Dettweiler, Chris and Brent Dettweiler, Heather and Laura Snyder, Serena Gingerich and Alex and Katherine Charette. Survived by her aunt, Eileen Snider and by several cousins. Predeceased by her parents, Clayton (1971) and Beulah (Snyder) Moss (1997) and by her sister, Myrtle Moss (1981). Ruth was a longtime member of Stirling Avenue Mennonite Church and more recently of Breslau Mennonite Church. She was an employee of Jamieson's Gifts and Emphasis Cards and Gifts. She enjoyed music and sang in church choirs. Mrs. Dettweiler's family will receive friends at Breslau Mennonite Church, 226 Woolwich St., Breslau today (Wednesday) from 7-9 p.m. and on Thursday from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. A committal service will be held at First Mennonite Church Cemetery, 800 King St. E., Kitchener on Friday, November 15, 2002 at 1:30 p.m. followed by a service to remember Ruth's life at Breslau Mennonite Church at 3 p.m. with Pastors Susan Allison-Jones and Ken Bechtel officiating.
