William R. Daniels, 77, of West Frankfort passed away at 10:50 p.m. Wednesday, October 24, 2018 at his residence. He was born December 30, 1940 in Covington, TN. to Dave and Ruby (Fowler) Daniels. He married Anna May (Yard) Daniels on September 15, 1990 in Channahon IL.
Survivors include his wife, Anna May Daniels of West Frankfort; two sons, David Childers of West Frankfort and Christopher Childers and Fiancé Melissa Weasel of Thompsonville; one daughter, Cortny Yard of West Frankfort; 9 grandchildren and 6 great grandchildren; five brothers, Johnny Daniels, James “Lynn” Daniels, Jimmy Daniels, Dave Daniels and O’Neil Daniels and by five sisters, Verna Mae Overton, Icye Travis, Alma Shires. Margaret Stafford and Marie Cox.
He was preceded in death by his parents; son, Billy Jo Childers; grandson, Hunter Nicolas Childers and by five brothers.
