Cecil William Allen passed away peacefully surrounded by his loving family on October 20, 2018, in Montgomery, Texas at his home at the age of 90 years, 1 month and 21 days. He was born in El Campo, Texas on August 29, 1928, the son of Cecil and Mary Allen. Cecil married the love of his life, Betty on August 9, 1951. Cecil and Betty started C.W. Allen Plumbing Company in 1961 in Houston, Texas. He was the toughest among us, a role model of hardworking passion. In 1974, they made the move to Montgomery, Texas. Cecil had a passion for life, family, hard work, racing and baseball. One of his most loved hobbies was sprint car racing that he shared with his son, Ricky, son-in-law Dennis, and good family friend Jeff Wahlberg. Being a lifelong Astros fan, he was elated to experience the Astros 2017 World Series Victory. He will be greatly missed by family and friends.

He was predeceased by his parents, Cecil and Mary Allen; wife, Betty Allen; his sons, Derrell “Bubby” Allen and Richard “Ricky” Allen; son-in-law Dennis Sehorn; sisters Mary Kennedy, Dorothy Miller, Lucille Schmidt. He is survived by daughter, Patricia Sehorn; daughter, Pamela Pizzino; daughter Sandy Cartwright and husband Joe; granddaughter, Tammy Tipps and her husband Lester; grandson Kevin Allen; granddaughter Sherry Dolejsi and her husband David; grandson Chris Sehorn and his wife Ann; grandson Brandon Pizzino; granddaughter Brianna Pizzino; granddaughter, Jeannine Gonzales and husband Jonathan; grandson Shane Allen and wife Brittany; granddaughter Megan Short and husband Jake; grandson Chance Cartwright; grandson Shannon Cartwright; great grandchildren: Hailey and Emily Allen, Trevor and Tyler Dolejsi,Justin and Nicholas Wischnewsky, Emerson and Everett Gonzales, and numerous other family and friends. Thank you to wonderful care provided by Sandy, Jamie, Chad, Regina, and Donna. Thank-you to Traditions Hospice for their attentiveness and care provided to Cecil.

A visitation will be held Tuesday, October 23, 2018 from 6 pm to 8 pm at Sam Houston Memorial Funeral Home in Montgomery, Texas. Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, October 24, 2018 at 10 am at Sam Houston Memorial Funeral Home in Montgomery, Texas. He will be laid to rest following the services at Cartwright Cemetery.
