Ollie Foster Tipton, age 94, of Afton, died Monday morning at Durham-Hensley Health and Rehabilitation, Chuckey.
She was retired from Plus Mark and was of the Baptist faith.
Survivors include her children and their spouses: Royce and Wanda Tipton, Elizabeth and Lawrence McIntosh, Donald Tipton, and Helena and Gary Feezell; eight grandchildren: Sheila Johnson, Nathan Tipton, Chad Tipton, Wayne Tipton, Tommy Tipton, Joey Tipton, Lynette Price, Ernie McIntosh; eleven great-grandchildren; seven great-great-grandchildren; several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her husband: Chester Tipton; parents: James Henry and Eliza Tilson Foster; three sisters: Ebbie Edwards, Sue Foster, and Mae Runyon; two brothers: Bob Foster and Parley Foster.
Graveside services will be held at 12:30 p.m. Wednesday at Fairview Cemetery on Snapps Ferry Road. The Rev. Ronnie Baxter will officiate.
Pallbearers will be Chad Tipton, Nathan Tipton, Tommy Tipton, and Wayne Tipton.
Doughty-Stevens Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
