They were the parents of a son, Arthur Daniel, born April 28, 1846 and died Sept. 9, 1848, and two daughters,two daughters, Ella Sarah, born Feb. 3, 1850, and Ida Eliabeth, born Nov. 13, 1853 and died Feb. 9, 1864.Her husband was the highly successful publisher of The Youth's Companion, the profits of which allowed Sarah to live in luxurious surroundings, replete with summer houses and yachts.
