Jesse L. Rose, 80, of Drummonds, a retired mechanic Dover Elevator for 37 years, died April 5 at St. Francis Hospital. Service was held April 7 at Munford Chapel with interment at Helen Crigger Cemetery in Munford. Mr. Rose was a member of the Tipton Masonic Lodge No. 226. He was preceded in death by his wife Mildred Louise Stimpson Rose and three brothers Harley, Bill and John Rose. Mr. Rose is survived by daughters Ann Chaney of Drummonds, Sue McCalvin of Covington, and Cindy Simmons of Sarasota, Fla.; son Phillip W. Rose of Burlison; sisters Dorcus Roberson of Shiloh and Juanita Adkins of Memphis; brothers Williams E. Rose of Drummonds, and Larry P. Rose of Munford; 11 grandchildren, and 19 great-grandchildren. Memorial contributions can be sent to St. Jude Childrens Research Hospital.
