David L. Cook, age 86, passed away on October 8, 2018.
David was born in Sandwich, Illinois on September 23, 1932 to Ivan and Beryl Cook.
The family moved to Estherville, Iowa and at age 18, David enlisted in the United States Army attaining the rank of Sergeant.
In August of 1955, David met the love of his life, Maureen. They married on Decemb 28, 1955 and had three children. After settling in Albuquerque and earning three college degrees, one in Pharmacy, David worked for Walgreens during the day and the Caravan East at night. On January 1, 19773, David purchased a drug store called Super Rexall Drug.
After retiring, David andMaureen loved to go to garage sales, auctions and flea markets.
David was preceded in death by his parents, Ivan and Beryl, his brother, Lee and by his loving wife of 54 years, Maureen.
David is survived by his three children, Michael, Steven and Theresa and by his five grandchildren, Ryan, Ian, Dylan, Christine and Kyle and by his seven great-grandchildren.
David will be greatly missed by all whose lives he touched.
