Sister Mary Lidwine Doyle
Mass for Sister Mary Lidwine Doyle, 75, a long-time teacher at Cathedral High School on the Near North Side, will be at 11 a.m. Monday in Holy Name Cathedral, State and Superior Streets. She died Friday in Resurrection Hospital. She had been assigned to the school for the last 20 years as a member of the Sisters of Charity, Blessed Virgin Mary. Sister Mary Lidwine, who grew up in the Chicago area, took her first vows in August, 1928. She taught in community schools in Iowa and South Dakota and in St. Mary's High School and Immaculata High School in Chicago. Survivors include a brother and sister. [Tribune 13 Feb 1983 p. c13]
