He was born September 29, 1941, in Bremen, GA, to the late William and Rose Boyd Bolden.
Mr. Bolden was a race car fan, enjoyed wood crafts and was a retired truck driver.
He is survived by his wife, Brenda Jones Bolden, three sons and two daughters-in-law, Roy and Jewell Bolden, Jr., Richard and Kim Bolden, and Bobby Bolden, all of Buchanan; 10 grandchildren, Bryan Bolden, Ashley Bolden, Brandon Bolden, Cody Bolden, Aaron Bolden, Ashton Bolden, Allison Fray, Hannah Bolden, Alex Bolden, and Brianna Bolden; four great-grandchildren, Lily Bolden, Brayden Fray, Karleigh Fray, and Reid Bolden; and a brother, Alton Bolden of Elijay, GA.
A memorial service will be held Sunday, March 13, 2016 at 2:30 PM from New Canaan Baptist Church with Brian Walker and Pastor Lee Patrick officiating.
The family will receive friends at the church from 2:00 to 2:30 PM.
