Petrita A. Gutiérrez (García), age 89, born in Cañon de Jemez, New Mexico and resident of Albuquerque, passed away on Tuesday, October 16, 2018.
Petrita is survived by her beloved husband, Arturo, children, Elsie Sáenz and her husband, Steve, Kathy Montoya and her husband, David, Art Gutiérrez and Brenda García, John Gutiérrez, Patricia Florez and her husband, Paul, Roberta Gutiérrez, sister, Tere Trujillo and her husband, Lupe, fourteen grandchildren, thirty great-grandchildren and many brothers-in- law and sisters-in-law, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
Petrita was preceded in death by her great-granddaughters, Shambrae García and Mia Faith Sáenz.
A visitation will be held on Monday, October 22, 2018 from 8:00 a.m. until 8:30 a.m. at Our Lady of the Most Holy Rosary Catholic Church, 5415 Fortuna Rd. NW with a Rosary to be recited at 8:30 a.m. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 9:00 a.m. Interment will follow services at Mount Calvary Cemetery, Albuquerque, NM. Pallbearers will be Stephen Sáenz Jr., Gabriel Montoya, Erica Gutiérrez, Christopher Flores, Arturo Gutiérrez and Daniel Becerra. Honorary Pallbearers will be Joshua Vallez and Angelo García.
