William (Bill) Robert Bossert age 71, of Belding, MI formerly of Gardiner, MT passed away October 15, 2018. He was born on July 21, 1947 in Red Lodge, MT the son of Henry and Joyce Bossert. William worked as a furniture refinisher for Xanterra Parks and Resorts at Yellowstone National Park until retirement in 2010. He was also a ranch foreman for various Montana ranches, bull rider and a big game guide. He loved making wild game sausage and was known as the Sausage King, furniture refinishing and upholstering. He enjoyed fishing, hunting, hiking, shooting and spending time with his family.

Surviving are his loving wife, Janice Laye of Belding; children Billie Jo (Gerald) Hutchinson of Laurel, MT, Shawn Robert (Michelle) Bossert of Belgrade, MT and Craig Dwight Bossert of Missoula, MT; many nieces, nephews, grandchildren and great grandchildren; brother Kenneth (Eleanor) Bossert of White Sulphur Springs, MT; sisters Susan Swartz of Broadview, MT, Callie Bossert of Livingston, MT and Michelle (Tom) Gilder of Lovelock, Nevada.

He was preceded in death by his parents.

A celebration of life will be held at a later date in the summer of 2019 in Montana. Arrangements in care of Lake Funeral Home in Saranac.
