Geraldine Lousie Teehee of Miami, OK passed away Saturday, October 13, 2018 at her home. She was 57.
Geraldine was born September 23, 1961 in Kansas City, KS to Floyd and Frances (Logan) Birdsong. She had lived in the Miami and Wyandotte area most of her life. She was a member of the Seneca-Cayuga Tribe.
Geraldine was the AOA Director for 28 years for the Seneca-Cayuga Tribe AOA Program.
She was preceded in death by a daughter, Amber Rodgers, her parents, a brother, Donald Birdsong and a sister, Karen Birdsong.
Geraldine is survived by 3 sons, John Scott Rodgers of Grove, OK, Bryon Teehee and Jeff Teehee of Miami, OK, 2 daughters, Madison Birdsong and Marian Birdsong of the home in Miami, OK, 3 brothers, Ronald Birdsong and Lonnie Birdsong of Miami, OK and Thomas Birdsong of Mapleton, KS, 5 sisters, Glenda Barton of Grove, OK, Rhonda Birdsong of Wyandotte, OK, Sharon Birdsong and Lisa Morrison of Miami, OK and Kathy Lane of Kansas City, KS and 6 grandchildren.
Graveside services will be 2:00 p.m. Tuesday, October 16, 2018 at Bassett Grove Cemetery, northeast of Grove, OK with Mark Woods conducting Native American Rites. Jose Reyes, Jerry Logan, Kevin Barton, Shae Euran, Mark Morrison and Brandon Chafin will serve as pallbearers. Honorary pallbearers will be John Scott Rodgers, Jr. and Gerald T. Logan. Geraldine will lie in state at the Ottawa-Peoria Community Building in Miami until 1:15 p.m. Tuesday. Services have been placed in the care of Paul Thomas Funeral Home and Cremation Service of Miami, OK.
