Julia Dee Baker was the daughter of George Washington Baker and Lucretia E. Jones
of Omaha, NE., Grand Rapids, MI., Humbolt Co., CA. and Alameda, Alameda Co., CA.
She married William Burton Babcock 24 Dec. 1903 Grand Rapids, Kent Co., MI.
They moved to Denver, Denver Co., Colorado where after a short time where Julia had a brother living. Julia left William B. Babcock and he returned to Grand Rapids, MI. They divorced 11 Feb. 1907 Grand Rapids, MI. When he returned to Michigan he stayed
at his sister Elfa Rose (Babcock) Foster home in Grand Rapids. He was ill from hitching
a ride on a train returning to Michigan. Julia had left him with out any money.

Julia moved to Oklahoma and family legend she married a Roy Curtis or E. L. Curtis
who I believe is Elton Leroy "Roy" Curtis s/o John L. Curtis and Sarah Elizabeth Tannehill Curtis.
She is a family mystery. She and her mother Lucretia E. Jones Baker did not get along.
Her mother disapproved of her show business activities. On the back of one family

Her last known husband was E. L. Curtis or Roy Curtis or Elton Leroy "Roy" Curtis.
